We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Wimbledon, Greater London. As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary focus will be on delivering individualised learning sessions to help students achieve their academic goals and enhance their overall learning experience.

  • Design and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN
  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to support students' educational progress
  • Assess students' learning needs and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback and updates to stakeholders
  • Relevant experience working with students with SEN
  • Understanding of various learning disabilities and special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field

Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role

  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position is temporary and requires working part-time hours. The role may involve working closely with students, parents, and school staff to provide the best possible support for students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
