Are you an experienced educator or SEN specialist, looking for a new role? Here at TP Tutors, we have immediate start referrals, which involve supporting and working with young people with SEN and SEMH needs.

I am looking for SEN specialists in Abingdon.

Our roles would be perfect for FQT, HLTA, Teaching Assistants or SEN Specialists. Our referrals can be supporting Early Years and Primary aged learners. We also have referrals for Secondary aged learners, who are working below their age expectations. So as a tutor you must be confident with the EYFS and Primary Curriculum.

Our 1:1 SEN tuition roles involve:

  • Building a rapport with the individual learner to ensure good engagement.
  • Creating resources and planning sessions tailored to their SEN/ SEMH needs and interests.
  • Delivering high quality and engaging sessions, in English, Maths and Science or learning through educational play.
  • Writing learning session reports on our bespoke learning platform LEAP.

Our ideal SEN tutor:

  • Has experience working with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Has experience using specialist SEN learning/ communication methods such as PECS.
  • Is able to build great working relationships with young learners.
  • Create bespoke sessions tailored to their specific SEN needs and interests.
