Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Tutor in the Leicester area to support a Year 10 Pupil who has Autism Spectrum Disorder.

About the role:

-          1:1 two-hour block sessions in both Maths and English.

-          Tuition takes place in the Pupil’s home or a local Library.

-          Sessions will need to be tailored to the Pupil and may require a different approach to standard teaching.

-          The Pupil may need to be supported in pastoral ways alongside teaching.

-          £25.00 per hour on a part time basis.

Skills required:

-          Resilience and patient approach to teaching.

-          Knowledge of the National Curriculum.

-          Empathy and understanding.

-          Confidence in planning own sessions with own materials.
