  • Provide individualised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Assist students in developing study skills and strategies to improve academic performance
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student progress
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Experience working with SEN pupils
  • Proven experience as a tutor

Relevant qualification in Education or related field

  • Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and different learning styles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
  • Additional training or certification in Special Education
  • Experience in working with students with specific learning difficulties

The role involves working part-time hours, providing support to students with SEN. The work will be based in Kensington & Chelsea, Greater London. The tutor will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
