Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one tutoring for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs
  • Implement teaching strategies to support SEN pupils in achieving academic goals
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SEN pupils
  • Proven track record as a successful and experienced tutor

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with SEN students
  • Demonstrated success in improving students' academic performance

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning styles and SEN support strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
  • Additional certifications in tutoring or related field

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work mainly in educational settings such as schools or learning centres
  • Potential travel to different locations to provide tutoring services

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
