Education and Training

£20 - £25 Per hour

  • Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress
  • Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' overall development
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Understanding of SEN support strategies and techniques

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
  • Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder)
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • May require travel to students' homes or other educational institutions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
