Salary: £20 - £30 per hour

As an SEN Tutor at Teaching Personnel, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one or small group setting. Your primary focus will be on building a rapport with students, managing challenging behaviour effectively, and working with students with severe SEN needs to help them achieve their educational goals.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as SENCOs and parents, to ensure holistic support for students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • SEN experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build a rapport with students with SEN
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviour in an educational setting
  • Ability to work effectively with students with severe SEN needs
  • Experience working with specific SEN conditions, such as autism or dyslexia
  • Additional training in SEN support and interventions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
