SEN Teaching Assistant – Christchurch
Pay: £93.62 per day
Hours: 6.5 hours per day
Location: Christchurch - BH23
I’m currently working with a lovely mainstream primary school in Christchurch who are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This would suit someone who enjoys working closely with children and wants to make a genuine difference to their day-to-day learning and development.
You’ll be supporting pupils who have additional needs, both within the classroom and through 1:1 and small-group support. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to help children feel settled, included and able to get the most out of their time at school.
The school is looking for someone who is:
Previous experience working with SEN is preferred, but I’m also happy to speak with people who have relevant experience working with children and are keen to develop their career within education.
What I really like about this opportunity is that the right person will have the chance to become an important part of the school team and build a strong relationship with the pupils they support.
If you’re based in or around Christchurch and are looking for your next SEN TA role, please get in touch. I’d be happy to have a chat, give you some more information about the school and talk through the role with you.
