SEN Teaching Assistant New

Location: Shawford
Salary: £14.25 per hour
Hours: Full time, term time only

We are looking for a caring, patient and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist primary school in Shawford, supporting children aged 4–11 with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs.

You’ll work alongside teachers and the wider team to help pupils access learning, build confidence and independence, develop communication and social skills, and manage emotions and behaviour.

You don’t need to have worked as an LSA before. We welcome applications from people with experience in education, childcare, care, youth work, support work or other roles where you have worked with children or provided support to others.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
