Sen Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Autism school in South Norfolk through our Norwich SEN branch. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of pupils who require additional support to reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with Autism and a range of additional learning and behavioural needs.
• Assist with personalised learning activities and interventions.
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual student requirements.
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and personal development.
• Work closely with teaching staff to help deliver outcomes outlined within EHCPs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students to support both their academic and social progress.

• Patient, compassionate, and understanding.
• Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Adaptable and confident working within a specialist SEN environment.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and training.
• Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role. The school is located in a rural area of South Norfolk and is not easily accessible by public transport. Applicants must be able to travel reliably to and from the school each day.
