Working Hours:

  • Total Hours: 30 hours per week, over 5 days.
  • Daily Schedule: 8.45am – 3.15pm.

Pay Rate:

  • Hourly Wage: £14.25 - £15.00 per hour.

Job Description: Are you a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-regarded Primary School? We have a full-time, 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant position available in Tuebrook, working with a delightful child in Year 3. This temporary role, covering a staff absence, extends through the rest of the academic year. The school is highly praised for its SENCO and Headteacher by staff, parents, and children.

Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Provide individualised assistance to students with special educational needs, addressing their learning and developmental needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement tailored learning plans and strategies.
  • Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources to meet the specific needs of SEN students.
  • Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher in maintaining an organised and inclusive classroom, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
  • Behavioural Support: Implement behaviour management techniques and interventions to promote positive behaviour and social interactions.
