Supply Desk are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistants for a primary school in the Winchester suburbs

Starting September on a long-term contract

Pay: £88 - £98 per day (dependant upon experience)

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Job Description:

  • Working within a mixed Year R/1 classroom
  • Working 1-1 with a child with some SEMH needs
  • Supporting with regulation strategies, safe spaces and sensory circuits
  • Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
  • Pay: Daily Rate (£88-£98)
    • Location: Winchester Suburbs (a car would be needed for this role)
    • Start Date: September 2026
    • Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
    • Hours: Full time

Individual Profile:

  • Good subject and phonics knowledge an advantage
  • GCSE maths and English Grade 9-4 (A-C)
  • Must have good classroom and behaviour management
  • Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
  • Intervention experience preferred
