As a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
- Promote pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN, either in education, care, youth work, coaching, or similar settings

Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication difficulties, or complex learning needs would be particularly advantageous, although full training and support can be provided for the right candidate.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to supporting the educational, emotional, and social development of pupils
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport, as travel to schools and specialist provisions across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas will be required
