SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary SEN School (Bury)
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a confident, proactive, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary specialist school in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference every day.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work within small class groups, supporting pupils across a range of activities throughout the school day. You will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to access learning, develop independence, and build confidence.
The role requires a calm, resilient individual who is comfortable managing challenging behaviours and supporting personal care needs as part of a holistic approach to pupil wellbeing.
A proactive attitude is essential, with the ability to respond to pupils’ individual needs and adapt support strategies accordingly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
