EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting on a temp-to-perm basis through Teaching Personnel Agency. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a structured, supportive environment.

The role:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Supporting pupils within an EYFS specialist setting
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Supporting children with autism, communication and sensory needs
  • Helping to create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Assisting with personal care where required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children within EYFS or SEN settings
  • Understanding of autism and additional learning needs
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
