Teaching Assistants Needed – Warrington Primary Schools (September Start)

We are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary schools across Warrington from September.

These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work within supportive school settings, assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education and providing targeted support to pupils. Positions are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with both general classroom and 1:1 support roles on offer.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working within UK primary schools.
• Are confident supporting children across a range of abilities.
• Have knowledge of phonics schemes and/or SATs support.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Are reliable, adaptable, and committed to making a difference.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.
• Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support pupil progress.
• Assisting with phonics, early reading, and SATs preparation where required.
• Helping to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND where applicable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
