Sen Teaching Assistant- full time

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester 

Pay: £85–£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, long-term

We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Bury. This is a long-term opportunity supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, moderate learning difficulties and communication needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them access learning in a structured and supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
  • Assisting with lesson delivery and adapting activities
  • Encouraging engagement, independence and confidence
  • Working closely with teaching staff and SEN specialists
  • Experience working with SEN pupils
  • Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
