Salary: £90 - £110 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in classroom settings
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for SEN students
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with SEN students to reinforce learning concepts
  • Monitor and track progress of SEN students and report to the teacher

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in supporting SEN students is desirable

Experience:

  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting
  • Experience working with SEN students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning needs and abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support SEN students
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SEN-specific training or certification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours may vary depending on school schedules
  • May involve standing for extended periods and assisting students with mobility
  • Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
