SEN Teaching Assistant

Education and Training

£85 - £100 Per day

• Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
• Assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
• Providing one-on-one support to pupils who require additional help
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of children

• Previous experience working with SEN children
• A valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience in a similar role within an educational setting

• Understanding of different learning needs and styles
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual pupils
• Strong organisational skills

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Training in safeguarding and child protection

• Working hours may vary based on the needs of the school
• Occasional involvement in extracurricular activities or school events
• Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
