Location: Woolton (L25)

Working Schedule:

  • Weekly Hours: 30 hours spread over 5 days.
  • Work Hours: 8:45 am – 3:15 pm.

Pay Rate:

  • Hourly Wage: £12.90/hour – £13.50/hour.

Job Overview: Are you a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a respected Primary School? We have a full-time position available for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in Woolton (L25), supporting a Year 4 student. This temporary role, covering staff absence, is expected to run for the remainder of the academic year. The school, highly regarded for its SENCO and Headteacher, has received praise from both staff and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Provide personalized assistance to students with special educational needs, focusing on their learning and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement personalized learning plans and strategies.
  • Resource Preparation: Assist in creating teaching materials and resources tailored to SEN students' needs.
  • Classroom Support: Support the teacher in maintaining an organized and inclusive classroom, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Behavioural Support: Implement techniques and interventions for managing behaviour, promoting positive behaviour and social interactions.
