Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students.
  • Help create a positive learning environment for students with SEN.
  • Support students with their learning and personal care needs.
  • Assist in the development of educational resources and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

Education:

  • Relevant educational qualifications.

Experience:

  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • Experience in a classroom setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN and various learning difficulties.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification.
  • Training in behaviour management techniques.

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension.
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Working in a school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
