SEN Teaching Assistant:

-          Mainstream Secondary School.

-          Monday – Friday.

-          Full Time.

-          Until July 2024 (with the possibility to extend).

-          Autism support.

-          Finchley

A great opportunity has arisen at a Secondary School within the Tottenham area, for an Autism Support Assistant to join their lovely staff team on a temporary basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

Within this role, you will be required to provide 1-1 support to children with Autism, therefore it is essential that you have experience/knowledge of Autism and strategies to support this.

Responsibilities:

-          Working closely with the school SENCO.

-          Completing observations on children 1-1.

-          Working closely with the class teachers, providing handovers.

-          Supporting children with their class work.

Essential:

-          Experience supporting children with Autism.

-          Experience working in a secondary school.

-          Strong communication skills.
