The role in hand:

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant as soon as possible. The job opportunity will consist of:

  • Working closely with students who have SEN and SEMH requirements and ensure their progression remains on a targeted level.
  • Help the pupils completed the set work to the best standard possible.
  • Keep focus and attention levels high to allow for the group to remain on task.
  • Alongside the supervision of the current teacher, monitor and control behaviour.
  • Keep a positive and nurturing nature throughout the lessons.

Requirements:

Upon a successful interview over the phone, the applicant would then need to carry out the following requirements, in order to be registered with ourselves:

  • Obtain a full child workforce DBS certificate (this can be obtained through Teaching Personnel)
  • Provide two work-based references dating back two years.
  • Completion of our online safeguarding course.
