  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning activities
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A relevant educational qualification in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistance would be advantageous.

Prior experience working in a school or educational setting, particularly with SEN students, is preferred.

  • Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with students
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

This role involves working within a school setting, following the school calendar and hours. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate student needs and activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
