A reputable primary school in Nottingham is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalized support to students with Special Educational Needs on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Support students during lessons, ensuring their inclusion and engagement.
  • Provide one-on-one support and assistance with personal care and sensory needs.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to monitor student progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with students.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3) would be advantageous.
