Salary: £83 - £95 per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Helping students with learning difficulties to engage with the curriculum
  • Assisting with behaviour management and creating a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children or in an educational setting

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs 
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student development

Working Conditions:

  • Regular school hours, Monday to Friday
  • Working within a supportive and inclusive educational environment
  • Potential involvement in extracurricular activities or school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
