Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location:  Middleton, Manchester

Start date: Monday 22nd April Monday 29th April 2024

End date: July 2024

Contract type: Temporary with potential for a permanent role

Working hours: Monday-Friday (8.45am-3.15pm)

Pay rate: £85 – 95 per day

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a large Primary School based in Middleton, Manchester. The school are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in the Year 5 classroom. This pupil struggles to self-regulate and has Social, Emotional, Mental Health. This pupil needs 1:1 support for them to access the National Curriculum and to be successful in this role, the individual must be able to demonstrate resilience and ability to adapt approach on a daily basis. The successful applicant will be working in a good school that treats everyone with the utmost respect.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEMH is desirable but not essential.
  • Valid Right to Work document. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with SEN.
