Role: Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant
Area: Quidenham, Norfolk
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Fulltime, Permanent
Age: Secondary

Responsibilities:
*Work under the guidance of the SENCO and classroom teachers to support the learning and welfare of students with SEN.
*Assist in the preparation of learning materials and the learning environment, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all students.
*Provide tailored support to students, both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis, facilitating their engagement in learning and their achievement of personal educational goals.
*Monitor and support the emotional and social development of students, reporting any concerns to the relevant professionals.
*Contribute to the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in review meetings.
*Encourage students' independence and self-confidence through positive reinforcement and appropriately challenging activities.

Requirements:
*A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Childcare, or a related field.
*Demonstrable experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
*A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEN and a passionate commitment to inclusive education.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
*Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the curriculum.
*A commitment to professional development and a willingness to engage in further training as required.
*Enhanced DBS check (the school group can facilitate this for the successful candidate if necessary).
