We are working with a brilliant Special Educational Needs school in Hemel Hempstead who are looking for a teaching assistant who is excited about supporting the learning of students with SEMH needs. If this sounds like you, then read on!

 

For this SEMH Teaching Assistant role, you will be:

• Supporting students with SEMH on either a 1:1 or small group basis.
• Applying various strategies to support children with diverse learning abilities and behaviours.
• Assisting the class teacher and rest of team where necessary.
• Helping to create a safe and encouraging learning environment for students.
• Working positively with co-workers.

 

You'd be working 5 days a week from 8.30am to 3.30pm, in a school who prioritise the mental well-being and happiness of their pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
