Our client school in Salford are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their learning support department in the new academic year, supporting pupils across KS3 and GCSE

  • September 20204 start
  • Full-time teaching assistant
  • Earn up to £1600 - £1700 depending on experience

Main roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils who require additional support due to learning needs
  • Monitor pupils progress and report back to senior members staff
  • Work alongside other TAs and senior leaders
  • Receive support and training to build further experience working within education

The successful candidate will be expected to provide in class support for identified students with a range of needs to ensure they have the correct resources to meet their target grades. Any specific experience supporting young people with additional learning needs or SEN previously is desirable.

To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously or transferable experience to work.

This mixed secondary school is based near the centre of Salford. The school is easily accessible via the M62, A56, M66 and A58 and for candidates that don’t drive there are public transport links from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and Heywood

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
