Teaching Personnel are looking for a PMLD Teaching Assistant to support Young People in a Romford SEN School. You will be supporting Young People aged 4-19 y.o who live with Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy & Severe Learning Difficulties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children who have SEN & PMLD. You will be a empathetic & resilient worker looking for a full-time role.

Role: PMLD Teaching Assistant

Location: Romford - RM6 

Salary: £90- £105 per day, depending on experience (PAYE)

Start: April/May 2024

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8.30AM – 3.30PM

About the role:

  • Care & support for 4-19 y.o Young People who live with Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy & Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Often use PECs & Sign Along
  • Weekly targeted staff training to ensure you are comfortable in your role
  • Personal care is required by all staff
  • All classrooms will have 3-4 PMLD Support Assistants at a time
