Salary: £80 - £90 Per day
- Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with personal care and mobility needs
- Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to support student progress
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN
- Good understanding of SEN issues and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant SEN qualifications or training (desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting
- Experience working with children with a range of SEN conditions
- Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual needs
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g. autism, dyslexia)
- Full-time temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
