Teaching Personnel currently have a very exciting opportunity, and we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic special needs teaching assistant to join one of our Academies based within a small community village in the outskirts of Wakefield in WF5. The successful candidate needs to be confident, committed, and highly motivated, with high expectations of pupils to support them with their learning journey. The school prides itself on providing top quality education alongside an exciting and innovative curriculum.

Pay: £82.50 -£90 per day

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Start: May 2024

As an SEN Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with additional educational or behavioural needs.
  • Provide educational and emotional support to all children within the school.
  • Work closely with class teachers to feedback pupil progress and attainment from individual sessions.
  • Be confident, passionate, and resilient.
  • Having strong English and Mathematics.

We are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience in supporting young people with additional needs.
