Exciting Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEN to access the curriculum, participate in school activities, and thrive academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include:
One-to-One Support: Providing individualized support and assistance to students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning difficulties, to help them overcome challenges and achieve their learning goals.
Classroom Assistance: Collaborating with teachers to implement differentiated learning strategies and accommodations to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities.
Behaviour Management: Supporting students in managing their behaviour and emotions, implementing positive behaviour strategies and interventions to promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Personal Care: Assisting students with personal care tasks, such as toileting, dressing, and eating, as required, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the school day.
Communication and Collaboration: Liaising with SENCOs, teachers, parents, and external professionals to share information, monitor progress, and develop personalized learning plans and interventions for students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
