PAYE

  • Providing support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting with individual learning activities for students with Autism, Learning Support needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
  • Implementing strategies to support students' educational and behavioural development
  • Working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Relevant qualifications in Teaching Assistant or related field

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

  • Understanding of SEN and different learning needs
  • Ability to provide behavioural support and promote positive behaviour
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Additional training in SEN or related areas
  • Certification in First Aid or Safeguarding
  • Work will primarily take place within a school setting
  • Full-time hours with occasional additional responsibilities
  • Collaborative work environment with teachers and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
