One of our partnership SEN schools in Stockport are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join their team!

In this role, you will be supporting secondary aged children with a variety of complex additional needs including Autism, cases of challenging behavior and sensory impairments.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support in preparation of resources and activities for exciting and engaging lessons
  • Help to record children’s learning, progress, and development
  • Build relationships with students and staff
  •  Motivate and inspire children’s learning and help them to reach their full potential

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with complex needs in a school/care setting or through personal experience
  • Experience working with personal care and or moving and handling (desirable)
  • A kind and caring personality
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service- this can be applied for through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
