A fantastic opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistant or aspiring SEN Teachers still undergoing their degree to join my client in a local school to support SEND children in their education and development. This fantastic opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work closely with children with special educational needs on a 1:1 or group setting.

🧡 The Successful candidate should:
  • Have previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable as you may be required to work with various students with different needs.
  • Have a level 2 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care, Teaching Assistant or the equivalent.
  • Have confidence working with children on a 1:1 or small group setting.
 

🧡 You will be required to:
  • Work as part of a team when supporting the school staff in their day-to-day duties and safeguarding the children.
  • Utilising your experience and qualifications when supporting children with special educational needs or disabilities.
  • Support SEND children on a 1:1 or small group setting.
  • Liaise with parents and other teaching staff to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
