We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students. DUTIES:- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs or disabilities.
- Support students in their social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to assess student progress and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Provide assistance with daily tasks, such as mealtime, toileting, and personal care for students who require it
REQUIREMENTS:- Previous experience working with vulnerable people with Special Educational Needs or has experience in a care / support setting.
-A level 2 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care, Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and other staff members.
- Confident working with children on a 1:1 or group basis.
