Salary: £80 - £95 Per day

  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require extra help
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience

A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience

Experience working with children with special educational needs

  • Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid training
  • Working hours: Full-Time
  • Working in a classroom setting
  • Potential exposure to challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
