An Primary School in the Blackpool, Lancshire (FY4) are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting ASAP. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 2 with ASC who displays severe behaviour challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children who display challenging behaviour and will have a calm and approachable nature.

This 2 form entry primary school is dedicated to offering all children continual support and works hard to ensure that every child has access to the best education. The school are looking for a teaching assistant who is supportive and hard working, who will build effective relationships with both staff and children.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN on a 1:1 basis. Experience managing challenging behaviour is essential.

The school are looking to appoint for this 1:1 SEN support position ASAP. The full time role will start ASAP and will run up until the end of the academic year.
