Education and Training

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities

Minimum of GCSE level or equivalent

Previous experience working with children or young people

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy
  • Basic understanding of SEN strategies and support
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid training
  • Working hours may vary
  • Fast-paced classroom environment
  • Potential for emotional challenges when dealing with students with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
