Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a committed team and help assist a brilliant school in the Bridgwater area. The ideal applicant will be able to support a class in various ways, such as 1:1 support and working with small groups of children.

We are looking for caring, empathetic and motivated individuals who feel they can help build a supportive, inclusive working environment. This role will be perfect for someone with a history of working with children with learning needs or a background in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities –

-            Previous experience working with SEN children is preferred but not essential

-            An ability to build strong, consistent relationships with the students

-            Good communication and teamwork skills

-            Flexibility and adaptability

-            Confidence in small groups and in 1:1 situations

-            Driving licence is desired not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
