Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new and exciting role supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel are looking for full time SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with a variety of complex needs including:

  • Autism
  • Physical disabilities
  • Sensory impairments
  • Cases of challenging behavior

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Follow direction from the class Teacher and engage in exciting lessons
  • Support on a 1:1 and whole class basis
  • Participate in sensory activities and play
  • Record and monitor children’s progression and development

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a school/ care setting or through personal experience
  • Full time availability within school hours
  • A calm and patient manner when working with children
  • The ability to work effectively as a member of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
