Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity this September? We’re working with a number of supportive specialist SEN schools across the Guildford area who are looking for dedicated, patient and proactive TAs to join their teams on a full-time, long-term basis.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional and complex needs.

• Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs and learning difficulties.

• Help develop pupils’ communication, emotional regulation, independence and positive behaviour.

• Build positive relationships and provide consistent support throughout the school day.

• Work closely with teachers, therapists and the wider SEN team to support individual needs.

• Assist with lessons, structured activities and personalised learning.

• Create a calm, safe and engaging environment where pupils can feel supported and thrive.

• Previous SEN experience is essential, ideally within a school or specialist setting.

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.

• A calm, patient, resilient and compassionate approach.

• Someone who is proactive, reliable and willing to get involved.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.

• Full-time, long-term opportunities starting in September.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
