Due to a change in their support department, there is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to provide guidance for students in SEN.

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant required.
  • Role available to start in November 2021.
  • Secondary school based in Salford.
  • Working with identified pupils with SEN including ADHD, ASC and SEMH.
  • Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Earn up to £350 per week, depending on your previous experience.
  • Access to multiple CPD training courses from partner schools.

Due to an increase in pupils requiring additional support this year, our client secondary school wish to expand their support department.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve supporting identified pupils with daily school life alongside their academic studies. You will be working alongside senior teachers including the SENCO to implement interventions to improve behaviour and promote inclusion of all pupils throughout school.

The successful Teaching Assistant must have previous experience working with young people who have SEN or have a strong understanding of how to support specific SEN.

Located in central Salford, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the A580 and the M602. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from the surrounding areas such as Eccles, Swinton and Prestwich.
