Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding position from September? We are working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Tooting that are seeking dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistants to support pupils throughout the academic year.

As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both pupils and teachers across the classroom. You may work with individuals, small groups, or provide general classroom support to help ensure all children can access learning and reach their full potential.

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Delivering small-group interventions and booster sessions
  • Assisting children with additional learning needs where required
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  • Supporting teachers with classroom preparation and organisation
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
  • Confidence supporting children of varying abilities
  • A positive, patient and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
