SEN Teachers (QTS Essential) - Specialist Education Settings

Locations: Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Hook (opportunities available across Hampshire - location preferences will be discussed)

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teachers (QTS essential) to join a range of specialist schools across Hampshire.

These full-time opportunities are available within established and supportive SEND provisions and are ideal for teachers who are passionate about delivering inclusive education and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

Alongside long-term placements, there may also be opportunities to secure permanent positions directly with schools, depending on experience, preference, and suitability.

As an SEN Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering personalised and inclusive education to pupils with a variety of additional needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons, supporting individual learning outcomes, and working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes

• Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development

• Creating positive, structured, and inclusive learning environments

• Managing behaviour effectively through consistent and supportive approaches

• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and multidisciplinary teams

• Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies to maximise outcomes

• A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach

• Experience working within SEND settings or supporting pupils with additional needs

• Knowledge of differentiated teaching and inclusive classroom practice
