SEN Teacher – Secondary Schools
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Full-time and part-time roles available
Teaching Personnel is recruiting motivated and dedicated SEN Teachers for Secondary SEN schools in the Southampton area.
This opportunity is suited to teachers who are passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting students with additional learning and behavioural needs.
Key Duties
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs
Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Supporting students’ emotional, social, and academic development
Collaborating with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Knowledge or experience of SEN teaching practices
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Safeguarding Requirement
Applicants must hold a valid Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
