A welcoming and highly supportive specialist educational provision in Yeovil is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join its team from September 2026.
This position is offered on a full-time basis, although part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious educator looking to further develop their career within specialist education.
The successful applicant will play a key role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with additional learning requirements.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every pupil feels supported to achieve their potential.
The setting caters for pupils with a range of additional needs including autism spectrum conditions, moderate learning difficulties, sensory needs, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
The ideal applicant will be patient, compassionate, adaptable, and passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is essential.
Experience within specialist education is desirable, although applicants from mainstream backgrounds with a strong interest in SEN are also encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
