  • Manage complex behaviours with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and ongoing development of SEN provision.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working in SEN settings, particularly with PMLD pupils.
  • Strong understanding of EHCPs, sensory approaches, and communication methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton).
  • Patient, adaptable, and resilient with a nurturing approach.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
